Project Overview
This Solana Beach home sits on a bluff above the Pacific, and the renovation was designed around one guiding principle: make every room earn its view. The clients wanted a complete interior transformation — a home that felt elevated, cohesive, and genuinely connected to its coastal setting.
SD Remodel Experts managed the full scope from design through construction, handling the kitchen, multiple bathrooms, hardwood flooring throughout, staircase, and all interior finish work. Materials were selected to work together as a unified palette — natural white oak, handmade zellige tile, Calacatta quartz, and matte black hardware repeated throughout the home.
The result is a home that photographs beautifully but, more importantly, lives exceptionally — a place where indoor and outdoor blur along the Solana Beach coastline.

Custom Cabinetry &
Marble Slab Kitchen
The kitchen was built around a two-material cabinet system: painted white shaker for the perimeter and a natural white oak fluted island that anchors the room. A full-height marble slab backsplash frames the professional range — the focal point of the cooking wall.
All cabinetry was designed and manufactured in-house at SD Remodel Experts' San Diego facility, giving the clients full control over dimensions, profiles, and finish — with none of the lead time or limitations of stock products.

White Oak Vanities
The bathrooms share a unified design language: handmade zellige ceramic tile on the shower and tub surround walls, Calacatta marble countertops on white oak custom vanities, and matte black plumbing hardware throughout.
The zellige tile was chosen for its subtle variation — no two tiles are identical — creating a soft, light-catching texture that reads beautifully in both natural and artificial light. The matte black hardware reads as a refined accent against the natural materials.
